Can see us struggling next season playing catch up with how slow proceedings are at the minute, so a relegation battle isn’t beyond the realms of possibility. No doubt Connell will follow Andersen out the door, probably ending up at Swansea.
Yeah technically I think his role is 'First Team Coach', but same point really. Not sure how I'd feel as a player, reporting back for pre-season training to find the first team coach is still on a beach. By contrast, Duff was leading the first training session within hours of signing, putting them through it. Not making a big deal of it, it just doesn't send out a great message for me. Neerav and Khaled talked about 'having all the plans in place' to press on. To some, this won't feel like a great first sign of that.
...or may be disco has been offered the job and needn't be there for the initial fitness checks? Always intrigued by the "can't be arsed' contingent. Wonder if you'll be arsed at Christmas if we're top of the league?
Hopefully that is the end of the speculation for Devaney as Head Coach, or at least it should be. Duff/Swansea have shown what the first few days of pre season should be like, the Head Coach running them ragged. We don't have a head coach or any senior coaches even at training by the looks of things, but it's alright because it's only abit of fitness apparently. The intensity will not be the same guaranteed.
Of course I’ll be arsed if we’re top of league at Christmas, cos we’ll be winning! If not al stay at home & play on FIFA
