    But we are struggling financially. It makes no sense.

    Unless someone is doing a Risdale theirs no explanation. Most clubs run at a loss but we seem to be trying to run at a profit.

    I don’t tend to post much anymore but fecking hell there’s some ***** on here. Boils my piss that ppl can write such crap. If anyone believes all that then go outside at 12am. There’s a UFO landing on Townend roundabout.

    Got it from a mate who normally is spot on with UFO landings.

    Just had 5 minutes to myself to have a good think and yes……..it’s complete ******.

    I think we are all a bit frustrated atm but I just don’t get that after such a good season…..with the fans reconnecting with the club that ppl can post an absolute load of trash.

    The saddest part is that over 50% of replies probably believe the OP views.

    Now we are all entitled to our opinions as this is what the board is all about so yes…..I get that.

    So given that we are ALL entitled to a opinion……mine is that the so called rumour is a complete load of horse manure.

    Can’t believe I’ve posted twice in 5 mins.

    Normally only post 5 times a year now.

    Sorry if anyone takes offence. I’m just really annoyed that ppl want to drown the club when in reality…..most of us know very little.

    There's Duff saying he is ambitious .... fine. And off he goes.
    There's Khaled's big message, exciting news and journey together ... fine.
    Think about it, this message was given a few weeks ago before the season ended at perhaps the same time that some of you believe that Duff may have been tapped up. I wonder if the plan for the future had been told to Duff, maybe about lack of money and bringing the kids through, and once again our coach thought sod it I've developed a successful squad and don't want it broken up. He saw out the season and was always going to leave.
    This is a constantly repeating process.
    BFC can't afford success, neither can they afford failure. We are stuffed.

    manipulate facts/news/goings on in your favour , spin bad news, no news into good news , exaggerate good news or small news into big, wonderful news and so on.
    nobody believes a word they say its part of there job or is there job to lie

    Our Squad had the 5th highest budget in the league.
    if you knock off the wages of a couple of those players who didn't play it apparently comes to 12th
    and i guess if you knock of the wages of those players who were out injured.
    we had the same budget as Worsborough Bridge.
    So its been a incredible season
    the best ever.

    Saying we had the 5th highest budget and we finished 5th .4th or 3rd place doesn't sound as great or exciting to the fans or have the same ring to it
    as we finished in theory exactly were we should have.

    did he go through every other team in the league , make a note of players in there teams that didn't play or were injured all season , email there CEO , make them tell them how much those players were on and then deduct it from there overall budget and then re jig the revised highest budget table

    I am going to guess........ No.

    It's difficult to find accurate figures until the accounts for 22/23 are released. One site has us down as 7th as you say . Highest weekly bill. But among that it says Tedic on 15k pw. I'd be astounded I'd we paid anywhere near that amount.

    Nonsense. Duff left for a higher league and a load more money. Anything else is conspiracy theory mischief. People seem to delight in this sort of rubbish. Have some patience, see what the closed season brings, Khaled’s announcement etc. Fabricated rubbish like whats posted above isn’t helpful just as we were making progress. Yes we’ve had a set back but don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater.
