I like it personally. A bit of a call back to the old Shaw Carpets one. That had a bit of a mixed reception at the time, but became a cult shirt later.
LOL, I appreciate many won't like it. It probably has more appeal to the younger fanbase. I'm 58, so hardly one of them really. Anything that distracts us from the manager / transfer speculation has to be welcome at the moment.
What they need to do is get those jackets they had for Wembley in the shop. All the young ubs I know would want to buy those.
Was 89/90 the season we had that yellow away kit with the black stripe down the side? That was my first kit as a lad and one of my favourites!
I'm not a fan of the three logos on top of each other, but do think it's great that someone at the top of the club is making an effort to do something special- not just rehashing a red puma template, and bringing in a designer. Anything that enhances the club as different and special is welcomed by me.
Also love the toby tyke badge. Something clubs used to take the piss about as laughably anachronistic along with timerider but we loved it !
