Time for some good news

    I haven’t got any and that is the point. While the fans of Swansea and Luton look forward to the new season, what are we looking at?
    From an outstanding season last year and an expectation of promotion, we appear to be in bits.
    The ‘don’t shoot the messenger post’ didn’t help. We need a statement of what the real situation is to give us hope, otherwise rumours of the worst situation will proliferate.
    If members of the board read this thread, I would expect some kind of communication today.
    The big announcement is well overdue.

    I am having dejavu from summer 2021, & last nights “Don’t shoot the messenger” post is just the icing on the cake, remember the Robert Goulet post?

    Forget new kit launch, let’s have some managerial news, or an update at least?? The club should know by now if it’s Devaneys, if not then come out and say it, then we can be a little more patient knowing an external appointment is imminent. Then why dont we sign some players.

    If it’s Delaney’s job then so be it maybe they’ve done the interviews and waiting for him to return to work so they can interview him. Even if to rule him in or out one thing Barnsley are good at is keeping things close to their chest maybe they’ve decided on someone but can’t reveal it yet as it could cause all sort of problems. supported bfc for over 65 years. Nowts changed there is another life out there enjoy it

    If money is good news then Swansea announcing Patterson with an article that said "Further updates regarding the first-team coaching staff will be made in due course" may mean Micky Long Haul has more to poach first, so more compo on the way.

    The managerial appointment will tell us everything we need to know. No decent self respecting manager would work under the regime hinted in another thread. Only folk desperate for work or for a promotion from back room staff would take it. Interesting to see. If devaney is promoted to manager, I have a feeling the poster may be on to something.

    Some communication, that’s all. I’m not expecting everything to be settled, but what’s going on? have we been picked over enough now? A statement from the club denying that we’ll be taking on the 1st division with the youth team next year. Communication that’s all.

    Any excuse for a bit of Ace. I finally nailed that guitar sound. Telecaster through Marshall. Trick is, keep the guitar at low volume & let the amp do the work. Phew..

    The real situation is that we've made no announcement yet because there's nothing to announce.
    Think it's fairly rational to conclude that when there is something to announce there will definitely be an announcement.
