The home shirt is bad……I’m gonna buy it. Gotta savour these moments. And yes…..I’ll wear it at Oakwell and out and about. Fair play for doing something different tho whether we like it or not. Certainly got ppl talking.
Have you looked around and seen what's out there? There are loads of kits even further from the norm, whatever that is, than ours. Kit designers push the boundaries further every season.
Kin ell. There's been some ale supped on here tonight. I'm hoping I've missed some level of humour, but if not, fc uk me.
Six pointed stars inherited from a previous design. Way before and unconnected to the sponsor. I agree the sponsor’s logo is terrible but to connect that with the kit design which is a throw back to the 80s kit is a bit unfair. I’d be far more keen to take issue with the horrific sponsors logo. How did anyone born after 1940 think that logo was appropriate?
I really like that part of it. I’m not normally a collar fan but I quite like that and the sleeves too. Everything bar the stars and eagle, basically.
I didn't define the iconography on the shirt. It is well established. I'm just reading it. I'm not being unfair, this is what we're going to be accused of. I believe it to be spectacular incompetence, but we're going to get anti-Semitism thrown at us from all angles and I can't believe they're so naive that they didn't see it. And just because people don't want to see it, doesn't mean it isn't there.
Plenty of companies have an Eagle logo. Just google it. Don’t forget the bald eagle is America’s national animal.
I suppose if you pick an animal for your logo and some awful group did beforehand, they are gonna look similar. They both have the same pose and looking the same way.
I'm not sure that citing other people's mistakes is a great justification for accepting what must surely be one of the most embarrassing designs possible... I accept it is all down to taste though.
It's not a white home shirt. If you showed anyone a pictire of that shirt and asked them what colour it is, they'd instinctively say red. I know it's not traditional all over red, but it's still a red shirt. Ps please change your name to KidSuperTyke Edit as for 3 kits preying on parents who can't afford it, how about those parents tell their kids they can have one or two? Is that how it works now, the kid demands that they get all three shirts because the club have released three? Growing up I got a pick of home or away, and that was that. I respected the fact that my parents either couldn't afford both, or weren't willing to buy both - either way, I respected their decision and was grateful for what I got.
