In the words of Mrs C, I’m feeling a bit sad pants.. The enormous smile & boundless enthusiasm, Luton have bought themselves more than a talented footballer..
Why did you choose Luton? I didn't, it's in the contract of every Barnsley player that they have to play for Luton when they leave.
Can't think of a more deserving player.4 years is a lifetime now in football and I don't think one person would begrudge him his tilt at Premiership football. Good luck and thank you for your service to our club.
I can't recall an outgoing player going to another club with such genuinely warm wishes from the fanbase since Conor Hourihane, and before that John Stones. He's been a great servant to the club, and seeing him play now is such a far cry from the player who was taken out of the first team for his own good at the start of his Oakwell career, after becoming error prone and losing confidence. The Covid break gave him a chance to reset, as did playing without a crowd on his back on the return, and he's gone from strength to strength since then. I'll miss seeing his name on the teamsheet, and replacing him in the team will be a huge gap to fill, but there's no doubt that he's earned his chance to play at a higher level. I'm actually glad that he'll be getting a shot at Premier League football and I hope he flourishes there in the same way that Ethan Pinnock has. Its going to be a tough ask for Luton at that level, but I hope both they and Mads succeed.

Very sad to see him go, but he deserves this chance, so hopefully it works out for him and that the Denmark manager takes notice. And Mads, if you are reading (and I hope I’ve got this right!), held og lykke og tak!
While their coach at the time said they'd paid more. That 1.3m could easily have been a first installment.
Good luck to the lad, can’t begrudge him a shot at the Prem. Sadly can’t see it being anything but fraught with Luton next season though .
As I get nearly every Premier League game here on either Peacock or USA, it will make it an easy decision which game to watch next season when there's a conflict. Good luck Mads.
Looking on other social media outlets the club are once again taking pelters which I think is very harsh , the lad deserves his chance at the big time & we have had 4 very good seasons out of him , he is moving up 2 divisions & no doubt his pay packet will reflect that which I am delighted for him , he deserves his chance & the club have done right by the lad & the club , every one should wish him all the best & I hope he always gets a warm welcome back at Oakwell , he certainly will do off me , good luck Mads & all the best !!!!
He's given it his all for us and anyone giving him or the club pelters need to get a grip, he's entitled to better himself.
