    If Kes is right and it's true it would make my year if Wilder is next Barnsley boss. I'd happily apologise to him in person, buy him a pint and shake hands.

    Everyone keeps bringing wages into it. Probably doesn’t need to ever work again

    Season before last Mr Warnock was ready to take us on but there was people on here saying we couldn’t afford him , absolute tosh
    He wanted the job and money was never a issue BFC knew that
    Loads of fans don’t like him but he would have saved us without doubt

    Preaching to converted. There's a few accountants on various media poo pooing aspirations. Fact is it's an entertainment business and when Windass scored bank balance was my last thought.

    Fair enough, don't see the draw with Gerrard as a manager myself but he would bring good contacts that's for sure.

    I was confident appointment would be from within.
    Devaney was odds on for me.
    This would be a statement of intent from the board if this happens now.
    They must be commended for this ,and should rally round to support the club instead of moaning it should have been xyz.

    The cynic in me says it won't happen and was just a rumour started somewhere which will be followed by a huge thread on here lambasting the board for letting him get away, complete with 20 conspiracy theories as to why he didn't sign Be great if he did though
