Not sure how Isted can be blamed at all for Wednesday"s winner, we had 10 men & it was the 123rd minute when Windass made his run into the box , there was no spare man to track him , he was unmarked & had a free header , if we had our full 11 on the pitch he would have been picked up , nobodies fault just fatigue & lack of of the extra player , certainly not Isteds fault , if it hadn"t been for him we would not have got to extra time .

I think you mean manager not employer. The manager has gone. And any player worth his salt although feeling down. Should understand that's how it is. like it or not. He got his place in front of Walton who was playing well. After playing in a cup game. I'm pretty sure Walton felt the same. I think people read too much into disappointment and change it to ill feeling. If he felt he was treat harshly by his employer then he needs to go. As that sticks in the throat. Been there done it.
Then you have managers who find it difficult to not stand by their recommendations. And play em when it's obvious there are better players in the squad. Struhber was one of those. Duff was not.
Brad needs to sign a new contract if offered and I hope he does. Or the club may need to offload if they think they will have a replacement in place.

Bit passive aggressive here Dave. I reckon Collins was just minding his own business and wanted to keep his head down. Focus should be on those on the pitch. As for giving up your day, it's your choice to go. If it was behind closed doors you'd be complaining. Best just to focus on events on the pitch. Collins is bound to feel put out after being ousted / Isteded last season. He seems a lovely lad and been a good servant for us.

Best not to get caught up in the Collins v Walton again Paul. Been done to death. And Walton no longer here.

Just making a comparison of the situation mate. Not the merits. I certainly wont go down that avenue.

Personally think he should have saved it. Simple as that really.

Despite how good he'd been throughout the game, I was disappointed in Isted's keeping for the goal. :(

Yes I'm not trying to detract from his performance or indeed balme him for the defeat, as he was excellent. When keepers make a mistake it often costs a goal.
I would imagine he himself is disappointed he didn't keep it out and would have expected to do so. He has my sympathy just as Luca does for his miss. They gave it everything and it just went the wrong way on the day.

I do also keep wondering, how he would have done against penalties, as it seemed to be going that way.
Keepers can win them as such (like Nick Colgan did for us), but you've got to score them as well, which goes without saying of course!.
