    What a man. He's given his all for Barnsley FC and clearly loves the club. Which makes me love him all the more.

    Go and do your stuff in the Premier League knowing that there's thousands of Barnsley fans wishing you well Mads.

    A credit to his mum and dad, and of course himself. Have nothing but respect for the man.
    Imagine if a child of yours was late teens and being booed in his/her place of work. I want to pull them out of there ASAP. But instead he had the strength of character to stay and overcome the doubters, ending up as captain.
    Hope he gets his chance in the prem.

    Great video, love Mads!

    A big takeaway is the impact being booed by Barnsley fans had on him. Anyone who booed Mads, or any Barnsley player should be embarrassed. If any player pulls on the club shirt and gives 100% regardless of ability and end product the supporters should be behind them. If we build our players up they'll perform much better than when their own fans tear them down.

    Maybe our cunning plan is to keep our managerial vacancy open for the next decade or so and then parachute Mads in at the end of his playing career.

    I'm sure he will be aware of this thread. That video was a tough watch. What a brilliant human being he is. We can be all so proud of him being the latest PL player that's played for us. He deserves his chance in the top flight. I bet he wishes he was getting it with us though, so he didn't have to move to get his dream.

    I had to stop watching that as I was crying. I've still not made it to the end. What a wonderful player, and a lovely man. I will follow his career with interest and wish him every success.

    Unfortunately we have some right nobheads who will boo the team off at half time if we're losing and then applaud them back on after the break. Same idiots shout "Gerrit on flooer" if there's more than three headers in a row. Never understood why supporters love to barrack there own team. " You're nothing special, we lose every week" is another chant that pissed me off. We're the youngest team in the whole league so the players need our backing.

    Top man a bloke who genuinely loved the club shame he had to leave. But wish him all the best.

    I don't think people were booing him getting the ball in the 6 yard box more the stupid tactic that never worked.
