A big shout out to Cauley Woodrow who had had his contract extended at Luton , there are some of his critics on here who said he was not championship class but now a club who have made it to the premier league value him so much they have rewarded him with a contract extension along with Morris . I am pleased as punch for both of them & hopefully they both have successful seasons & enjoy the big time . He has had his injury problems but obviously the Luton management value him highly , well done Cauley !!!

Just don’t understand all hate he gets from some of our fans, the lad was a really good player for us. Wish we’d had him last season he’d have got about 20+ in this league. Hope he gets to shine in Prem, him, Morris, Clark and now Andersen.

A top class agent does not do it for you at your current club , you do it by yourself on the training ground & on the pitch , if wasn"t any good Luton would not be doing it .

One of the best forwards we have had in my time watching the Reds. I feel it’s fair to say injuries and poor management did impact some of his time with us and his goal scoring but a class act on and off the pitch.

Thought towards the end of his time with us he lost the love for the game a bit of his bottle always looking over his shoulder when the balls was coming like he didn't want to take the hit. To be fair he was injured most of last season so can't judge was it the love of the game or just us.

Completely agree, was a class striker for us, didn't fit in under Val - I don't understand the stick he gets.

Made me laugh. 2 goals in 27 championship games for Luton last season not sure how much game time he will get in the premier league I'm surprised he got a new deal tbh.

Liked Cauley yeah he has his fair share of injuries but his last few months at the Well he looked disinterested.
I’m surprised at the contract extension mind he hardly played last season

I think professional football people will always recognise quality.

Pleased for him he's at Luton where he started his career think its his local club. Be surprised if he plays many premier league games. He only started 7 in all competitions for them last season and about 26 from off the bench. I think carlton morris could have a good season and surprise a few in the premier league though.

Woodrow seems like a nice bloke and did well in L1 with Moore as a foil. Ultimately though for a striker he doesn't strike. He's not that good. He's 'ok' but as just stated not that good. I can't understand the plaudits he gets on here. People seem to forget what a 'good' Barnsley striker is like. Its someone who hits the net, even in a poor team and doesn't rely simply on penalties to boost their goal per game ratio.
He's a good lad but not a great striker.

Yeah. You bloke on the internet know better than the guy who has just got Luton promoted on a shoe string. Even those two you mentioned had reasonable careers and were far better at football than the average joe.

You think he’ll cut it in the Premiership?
