The other one. Is up for auction at Talisman Railwayana Auctions on July 16th.
I know the club has one, this is from the other side.
Or a reproduction. But I’m told it’s authentic.

I've got a full size replica (made of wood) complete with painted splasher (as per my picture which is of the one in the entrance to the Club's boardroom at the back of the West Stand) but alas no brass football. The Boatman's Rest in Worsborough have a very nice small scale brass replica screwed to the bar measuring about 15" across.

I would guess if the one in the OP is genuine, then it could easily go for a five figure sum.

Would be fantastic to own if original, I thought the one the club has was a replica, the original being sold off some time ago but I may be incorrect.....anyway it looks fantastic

I may have the same one as the boatmans rest. As you describe it. Arched. BARNSLEY FC. Although like yours it doesn't have the ball. I was given it a year or 2 ago by a friend. It adorns one of my walls.

Glad to hear you haven't got balls adorned to your walls.
