Yep! And they’d been doing it for a while it just took some time to prove. There was a reason the cameraman was focussing on Bancroft like he was.
He wasn’t as young and sweet and innocent as he pleaded though. Mind you, Smith as captain should have been banned for longer if not for ever in international cricket

I reckon DIY shops around Leeds will have sold out by tomorrow. I may even buy in bulk and set up a stall outside the ground or even at the Western Terrace
I remember as a wicket keeper in junior club cricket I was taught to check if the batter was in his crease if the delivery came through to me even when not stood up tot he stumps, if he wasn't - have a go at the stumps. But, if the batter went into his crease, and I caught the ball I considered it dead, I wouldn't wait to see if he walked out of his crease after the deliver had reached me. Bairstow was perilously close to being out of his crease by the time the ball reached the keeper he was so keen to go for a wander down the pitch, so I'm a bit torn about it. I think, in the end, Bairstow was an idiot, it's in the rules and really he of all people should know better as a keeper. I'm not bothered about the spirit of the game so much - show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser.
Are you related to Hales ? He hasn’t played a test for 6 years and averages less than Woakes in Test matches. He also got fined twice for drug related offences. Sorry but I think I’ve got more chance than him.
The logical approach would be to have Brook at 3, move Bairstow up to 5 and call Foakes up. But they won't. It will either be Lawrence in at 3, or Ali will come in to the top 7, alongside 4 seamers + Stokes.
