    Wish him well. Looks a big lad might be worth a go sooner than later if we have some injuries. We don't have a shortage of defenders now.

    Let me guess. Along the lines of tinpot, cheap option, no ambition, sign non league players you end up in non league, club's gone, relegation next season.

    Pretty much. I should really stop reading them as I end up getting embroiled in arguments. Last night, one bloke was adamant that the current board haven't put in £6.3 million equity over the last 12 months. That was on the mads leaving post and him saying the "undisclosed" fee is the owners not telling fans and taking it straight out of the club.

    Loads of good players come from non league especially over the past 15 years. We've had a good few here too. Good luck to the lad.

    Well he's not from Barnsley as described in the media. Went to same schools as my kids in (cough) North Sheffield.
