    It would be more enjoyable but for the nagging feeling that we might just out do them in the dodgy foreign manager stakes. I'll decide whether or not to laugh at them once we've appointed our new boss

    Yeah but they’re massive, we’re not. Most people will expect us to sign a 3rd Division manager.

    I'll wait before laughing. Ive a feeling we'll end up with a P E teacher. All of a sudden Disco appears very appealing

    Well at this stage I guess we know it’s gonna go one way or the other. It’s either a top signing that’s just taken time to get over the line, or a 4th choice random cos we’ve not been able to land any of our targets. We’ll see…

    We can’t go down the foreign unknown again ! Had some degree off success with Stendel, Steiner and Ismael but after the cluster fudge of Schopp and Carrier baggi they wouldn’t dare so soon, especially after admitting it didn’t work and then coming up trumps with Duff.
    He’s left a bitter taste too after his comments on that video! I 100% get ambition doubling or more your salary and that the only loyalty in football is the fans but I would have expected an open letter or something like the Mads video, all we’ve had is silence and more negativity

    To be fair, technically speaking we knew Duff was leaving days before Moore was sacked by Wednesday and we’re constantly told we have contingency plans in place to quickly replace managers and players.

    We were aware of interest/an approach had been made, that doesn't mean we knew Duff was going to leave.

    We've no reason to believe otherwise, considering we're set to make an appointment by the end of the week by all accounts, which will only be 2 weeks after Duff left.

    You do realise it takes more than a day or 2 to appoint a manager that already has a contract at another club. The Duff speculation was out a week before Moore was sacked so the club knew he was leaving. Weird thing for you to try and defend the club about.
