    Ah, Mike Lester, what a player. The goal he scored at Middlesbrough, winding up Sabella against the Blunts, the one he scored at the Ponte End and celebrated like a magician presenting a trick. A great entertainer in a team of great entertainers (early 80’s, those of us that saw that team may have mentioned this once or maybe twice before).

    Me too. I have a pal who is a Grimsby fan and Clifton has been the stand out player in a very good team which did well enough in the league and outstandingly well in the FA Cup. As long as we don't pay silly money.
