They never said Mads wasn't for sale. Pretty much everybody on this board expected him to be sold this summer, understood the reasons and wished him well.

    Why are you so negative?
I've said it before, club dammed if they do dammed if they don't.

I’m so negative at the minute because everything seems to be going backwards.
I don’t have to be happy with my lot and put up with anything! Other than the new home shirt ( minus sponsor), I have seen nothing that positively builds on last season.

As yet there is no positive improvement on last season. We can all agree on that.
But it's not the club's fault Duff decided to leave. It's not the club's fault that Andersen had reached the point in his career with us where it was wise for us to cash in on him and fair to let him move on.
It's not the club's fault that people are posting wild, unsubstantiated rumours on here that others take as gospel and then use as a stick to beat the club.

This place isn't representative of my views. I don't like the new kit, I REALLY don't like the new kit, but other than that I have zero complaints. I think the board and chairman are doing an excellent job. I wouldn't go to them for fashion advice but they're doing well in running a football club after it was left in a right state.

Fair enough but there's still time yet for things to change, hopefully for the better, there's nothing we can do but wait.

I too have no complaints. We have just narrowly lost a play off final after a positive season. We have so far lost one player who most accepted we would loose this summer anyway. Our coach has gone (not the clubs fault), we have taken time to get the right man in, if it’s today which it looks like it will be, he has a month to work with the players. We’ve already made two signings for first team. We have been assured our star men won’t be sold this summer and as they under long term contracts I imagine that to be the case. Hoping for a coach announcement today or tomorrow and we need at least one striker and maybe a bit of depth at fullback and midfield. Our youth teams are doing brilliantly. Don’t know why some people are acting like this summer is a complete disaster. We have had far far far worse off seasons. Whoever comes in is inheriting a good squad

Interesting that they've confirmed we benefit from City winning the CL and Luton getting promoted. Add in the Duff compo and the Andersen fee - if it's 3 million we've got a healthier budget than last year!

Why dont you all just email Khaled and ask to be added to the list of invitees to the next fans forum?
Seems simple enough to me, the man says it every bloody time they have a meeting.

Yes, I look forward to seeing a fans group called Preedy’s Pooh-Poohers who turn up at every fan meeting fuelled by rage and who spit incandescent insults at the CEO demanding we go back to the traditional Barnsley Values such as having a donkey for a mascot, playing in claret and blue and winning the FA Cup when an ocean liner sinks.

Trouble is only them in the know actually get to hear it if it is indeed said?
But being a club event perhaps it ought to not be invisible?
Shall I email him and ask if I can be invited to interviews when Collins is poached by Bournemouth, Watford, Norwich etc ? Problem is I don’t know when that will be, a bit like last night really.
Once emailed does that get followed up with a calendar invite?
