Some think the appointment is iffy but Neil Collins gives me a stiffy it’s going to be tough but we’ll play great stuff and be in the championship in a jiffy
Ronnie was joyous in speaking His ode to the gaffer was peaking - But Marc said it's amateur Your iambic pentameter Is messed up, it surely needs tweaking!

From the Google Bard :- Ode to Neill Collins A leader on the pitch, a mentor off, Neill Collins is a man of great worth. He's led his teams to glory, And taught his players with elegy. A defender of the highest order, He's never afraid to put his body on the line. He's won countless tackles, And scored some important goals along the way. But Neill Collins is more than just a player, He's a manager, a coach, a friend. He's helped to develop young talent, And brought success to clubs both home and abroad. So here's to Neill Collins, A true footballing legend. He's a man of great skill, And a man of great heart. He's a credit to the game, And a credit to his profession. He's a man who will be remembered, For his achievements both on and off the pitch. Cheers to Neill Collins!
You just reminded me of a poem I wrote at uni in my spare time about a squirrel, in the style of The Owl and the Pussycat. I still remember the first few lines! Cecil the Squirrel Got lost on the Wirral Sailing on down To the sea With a tree up ahead He jumped up from his bed And collected some Apples for tea. (That's all I can recall, it went on for ages. Cecil made some friends along the way, sailed to the Bahamas, and then turned round and came back to his natural habitat: The Wirral, chosen purely for its perfect rhyme to 'squirrel').
According to Wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iambic_pentameter As Midge Ure said, it means nothing to me...
Flitcroft's version: His end goal was a mystery He went on about synergy Signed Jason Scotland Then blew hot and cold and Never made it back to the Championship
Can't believe that @Stephen Dawson is arrogant enough to post using your account and then likes what he posted on it.
