Attack minded RWB. Either they don't think Cotter is up to it or maybe there is truth in Williams to PNE.
Remember seeing him play against us when we played Man City u21's a few years back. Little stocky winger at the time, he was very direct, didn't mind fronting the full backs up, mixed it up well going inside to open up space as well as hugging the byline. Cant say I have see him as a full back, but from an attacking point he was a good little player.
Or that too yeah. Will have to see how it pans out. Be nicer to see us linked to some CBs or STs first off as those are the main positions we need.
Striker should be our main priority but as we all know they cost the most money and there's always more competition. Suspect we'll be going down the loan route....
There's several free agent strikers that would be an improvement to what we have already that we should be in for.
If this is true its a replacement likely for Williams. Sell Williams for a million buy a player for 500k quids in.
I've learnt over the last few years not to pay too much attention to incoming rumours. The signings we actually make generally seem to fly under the radar. We're publically linked with a young striker, centre mid and a wing back, so I fully expect our next signing to be a centre half.
It was quoted by the BBC that we had a bid rejected so it’s probably not just a rumour, however at £400k it’s also not likely to happen so might as well be.
