Can't remember you mentioning an EFL charge ? You said the club is up for sale though which isn't true. And Duff went because of a change of direction rather than $$$$ . You said the board want more control on picking the team, which is laughable. The board were split between Disco and Eaden or one of Khaled's school teacher friends for the head coach role. Again this didn't turn out to be the case. It was fairly devoid of anything that had any truth to it other than we might lose a few players if we get decent offers which I'd guess is true for some players and pretty obvious given our financial position and our model. (Although we've only sold 1 to date). Your post from the other week made no suggestion of efl sanctions or anything like it so don’t be getting too comfy on your high horse. We are all supporting the same club. We should all be concerned at potential consequences and your first reaction is to put a ‘look at me aren’t I great’ post on here saying ‘I told you so’ when in actual fact you said absolutely nothing of the sort
Tbh…..your post was mainly about Duff leaving and then gave reasons to suggest that the team was going to be picked by “the powers above” which is absolutely crazy. Then you suggested Eaden and Devaney would be given the job. You suggested the club is up for sale. You suggested we’d be a team that uses the youngsters this season and not sign anyone of significance. To think that Duff didn’t leave because he got more MONEY and to manage in a higher division at a higher club is ludicrous as your “info” was that he actually wanted to stay but got wind that he’d get nowt to spend and have his team picked by someone else and only play the young uns???? Tbf it does sound like you're gloating - a lot - and yeah, it doesn't sound cool. At all. However, I've just been back over your original post. There's no mention at all about the prospect of these sanctions. I doubt anyone reading your thread could sensibly link the two things, so I'm not really sure how you're now 'claiming credit' for that. Beyond that, your comments were mainly about how the Club were tightening their belt due to financial constraints. IMO this isn't news, and wasn't when you said it. @Archerfield has been consistently saying this to anyone willing to listen, for at least 12 months. And from going through the thread, there were also plenty of people agreeing with the broad points you were making. So yeah, not really sure why you felt the need to come out firing like this. I suspect every single Barnsley fan utterly despises Conway & Lee for the damage they've caused. But hey, glad it's made you feel better.
The efl have announced the charges. This must be Khaleds big news. But i was under impression we informed the efl originally so how we are hiding things i don't know and didn't the EFL originally give the go ahead for Conway and co to take over the club

Again....do you honestly think that the news Khaled referred to as being exciting and something that would thrill the fanbase was......we're being charged by the EFL? Is that what you really think?
