    Killip was second choice for the 91st best club in the Football League mate. Wouldn’t mind someone a bit better.

    You mean after he got injured don"t you ? , Isted was brought in as an emergency signing after Collins got injured , when Collins was deemed fit again Isted was performing to a level where Duff kept him in the team , no one shafted Collins .

    It’s still a very weird signing on the face of things. Why is a league one club looking to get promoted signing a player that got relegated from the division below. It’s weird no matter what way you look at it. We must be brassic.

    Genuine question, if he was missing for half the season then why is it he partly responsible for getting relegated ? surely if he is not playing he cannot effect things.

    He’s played 200 games for Grimsby, Hartlepool and Braintree mate. Kevin Donovan made 200 appearances as did Paul Gibbs and Scott Wiseman.

    Isted has Luton, Barnsley and now Charlton on his CV.

    Luca Connell had played 38 games in the Scottish 1st Division. Adam Phillips was 25 years old & played <100 games for Morecambe & Accrington Stanley.

    Connell had played in the Champ with Bolton and Phillips wasn’t pushing on 30 when playing for Morecambe in League 1. Players who played / played higher at our level. My point is we’ve signed a player who people are touting as Collins replacement who nobody above the bottom end of League 2 wanted apart from Norwich who stuck him in their reserves six years ago.

    Isted never played for Luton or Charlton prior to being with us. Killip played over a 100 league games for Hartlepool. Not sure what point you're making other than sounding a bit Wednesdeh.

    no but he must surely have been disappointed when he didn’t get are all after a couple of clangers.
    He would have been further disappointed if he say had a look at some of the comments on here
