If there's a points deduction

    If the Efl go all ridiculous here and think about trying to make an example out of us, what sort of punishment will we get ?.
    I'm hoping its a fine and a warning, or a so called suspended punishment. But if they deduct us -6 points (or more!), then that's going to almost ruin our hopes for the Play offs.
    In the long run, this might end up being the mid table season of consolidation, that I thought last season was going to be. o_O

    Given that Birmingham got a £35k fine and a suspended -2 point deduction, for a very similar offence, what leads you to believe we'd get a minimum deduction of 6 points.
    Other than saying 'cos we're Barnsley innit'

    I think we'll go up automatic if we avoid a points deduction. Connell signing his contract is a massive boost to my morale. If Kane and Kitching extend too that would be great too.

    Not sure we will get whacked, I think the thing here thats more different to other cases is that we have volunteered the info and been more explicit.

    Who knows though, they/the Efl certainly can't be trusted to make fair and sensible decisions.
    I'd say we are still one of the top teams at this level, and even a heavier points deduction, still shouldn't put us in a relegation scrap towards Lg Two!.
    But we might have to be prepared for this to all go t*its up, even though our lot have been up front and honest about it (as far as we know, they have).

    £3m fine, immediate relegation to League 2, and we start next season on minus 50 points.

    I dont think we’ll even get a suspended -2 point deduction. I don’t know what was involved at Birmingham but we have a different board to when the offence happened and they have reported it, that should go some way. I honestly think it’s Conway/Lee that will be targeted, but I can’t see it been more than a warning

    Is there such a thing lol.
    Its always been suggested hasn't it, that the Fa and the Efl have their certain 'favourites'. Whereas the likes of/clubs like Barnsley, can go and... :eek:

    I think our board’s solicitors will be contacting Lee/Conway as well. There’s a chance the club will be fined and I think they have grounds to recoup that fine, plus damages/fees from them
