I don't think we did. Would be pretty pointless as the EFL / fa wouldn't overturn it and accept their referee AND var made a mistake. Three match ban.
Wonder if we appealed and it failed or if they didn’t even bother. This just compounds the misjustice even further. Ridiculous.
Chance for someone to stake any early claim then. Guessing it’ll be a midfield 3 of Connell, Kane and Russell.
Give over. If that’s a red card then most games would end up 9v8 every week. I can see why Robinson gave it from his angle - still bloody harsh but I get it - but the VAR official, having watched all angles, shouldn’t be involved in football for not even suggesting he take a look for himself. And I’m not in a minority view in that. How many people (in the game, not just fans), including officials, agreed with the decision? There was, pretty much for the first time I can remember for little old Barnsley, an almost unanimous feeling amongst people about the red card in particular, with overall support that the penalty decision was also wrong (though not as strong). It should not have been a red, and the fact they gave it and he is now suspended does not prove it was.
