    Club needs stability of ownership. That’s clear. But it’s not in our hands..
    Luca is the best footballer at the club & he’s played his cards exactly right, as have the club. Kid will be at Liverpool this time next year. & we’ll be £5m better off.
    We need 2 or 3 new players. An experienced goalie, I think? Ben Thomas back. & a young, hungry striker. I believe Max will do a good job, but another one too, while we wait for Jalo & young Dyer to come through..
    I’m excited about coming season, I always am. (Clapping happily). If you’re not, you’re supporting the wrong football club. :)

    Over egging it a bit on the Connell to Liverpool I feel. Good player with potential.. but that sounds like the old 'Luke Steele for England' demand from some fans years back..:D

    (With a nod to Terry Nutkins) I can remember as a young lad singing along with a chant of "Winnie for England!" Some (including Barry Murphy) reckon he would have been capped had injury not intervened! :D

    Agree with most of that, but think we’ll be fine now in terms of goalkeepers with the signing of Roberts. Has plenty of experience and only seen nothing but praise from fans of clubs he’s played for.
