    Speaking of shoe soles, I bought a pair of Pavers trainers last year, the soles were so bereft of tread that the slightest hint of moisture on slabs rendered me almost incapable of standing. Yesterday I had to bin them because the soles had worn out. I won't be buying any more Pavers any time soon.
