Another sad loss. Really good voice for specific genre (he couldn't do punk). He'll be missed. However he was old in the 60's I think.

One of the truly great singers of our time, and before. Some of his songs are magnificent and spine tingling. And he could swing with the best of them. Age sadly has caught up with him. A sad loss but not unexpected.
He lived across The Bay from me in Tiburon-Belvedere, in a cliff-top mansion looking back towards San Francisco. The SF Giants usually play "I left my heart in San Francisco" over the speakers as Oracle Park empties after a game. I was lucky enough to be there when the man himself gave us all a rendition. RIP Tony.
