    No. Only Johnson & Cusack were Wednesday players at the time. Joicey, Collins, & Springett WERE signed from Wednesday. Springett in the Summer of 1975, Joicey in the Summer of 1976 & Collins December 1976. Pugh was signed from Chester, October 1976, the same month that Warnock was brought in from Aldershot. However I would never say to Warnock's face he had any connection to Sheffield Wednesday and expect to keep my front teeth!

    Some of those were in the team when I first started watching. I remember thinking football was a game played by old men. I'm now in my 50s, and they all still look older than I do now.
