If there is truth to what Nixon is saying and we are still after him. He'd better be like bloody maldini after all this chasing around.
My understanding is that he’s talking crap. You’d think he’s got subscribers to keep interested or something. Keep bashing the club using rumour and speculation though Scott
This post has got lost in folk replying to Scott's daft rant about Nixon. I think it is quite reasonable to be concerned. I am.
So, have i got this right, BBS as a group just post stuff to pi55 people off, and regardless of being true, its still a lie. I'ts early am i missing the plot or do i need another hour or two.
Nixon blocked me yonks back on Twitter for questioning his pick 'n' mix approach to transfer stories, but the Notts County thing might not be bobbins. Yes, they're L2, but considerably more cash rich than us.
I’d suggest if the medical isn’t an issue, then this’ll be it. He’ll want to play for us, but could be being offered more elsewhere. Simply because we see him as a development player - whereas teams further down the pyramid will see him as a 1st teamer and will pay more.
We know that. Everybody knows that. The club, fans, everybody knew we'd have a problem replacing Andersen and Thomas. It was blindingly obvious. But some people think that the club are so amateur that they ignored the blindingly obvious. I simply don't believe that. It's an idea that has no logic. What does have logic is the fact that we can't afford to go out and buy a ready made replacement for Andersen and getting as close as possible for the right money isn't going to be easy.
Exactly. We'll have a wage that we're willing to pay every potential signing. Nobody goes for a week's shopping with £100 quid in their pocket and spends £90 on a box of cornflakes.
The next Andersen is more than likely already on the club staff. Remember it ain't all that long ago that a noisy minority had written Mads himself off, and wanted rid of him
Mads was crap for the first few months. Absolutely awful. Although it didn't help that our keeper was instructed to give the ball to Andersen every time, so we could play it out from the back, but Mads couldn't do it and lost the ball resulting in an opposition goal more times than I care to remember. He didn't start looking like a decent player until we brought in Sollbauer. And after Sollbauer left, in the relegation season, Mads didn't pull up any trees. He may not have been as bad as many players, but he wasn't great. A lot of last season, and particularly in the play-offs, he looked class. I don't believe we have a ready-made replacement and do think we need another centre half with a bit more experience than what we've already got, but I also believe we have a few players with the potential to be as good as Mads in time.
So this Nixon bloke talks total bollards does he ?. Well then he should join in on here, he'd fit right in with the rest who do.
Why are we being so thorough with these medicals? I remember the days we signed people with broken legs on the cheap. They don't want to go up!
But that's the problem according to the boards plan the replacement should have already been here ready to go that's the only way to make the way the club's run work properly you have to have a replacement ready to go when a player is sold meaning that there's no backwards steps sadly we never do and the result is one step forward two steps backwards every close season or January transfer window.
I liked both Collins and Isted but I think we’ve got another good one in Roberts. Hopefully I’m not putting the kiss of death on him with this!
PLAN, weve got a plan, what plan, which plans that then, a proper plan, do you know Khaleds big news,
