    Plenty of options up front now, but we don’t have a single ‘target man’ among em. Dunno if that’s a sign of intent of Collins’ playing style, but I’d say every team in L1 needs at least one.

    I’m not sure about the stuff behind the scenes but the talent is definitely there. His touch, vision and presence is brilliant, but he seems to fall shy on the game management side. I lost count of the times that he tried a trick or a flick on halfway only to lose the ball and put us on the back foot. Like I said, he clearly has it, he/we just need to work out how to best utilise it.

    I think a league 2 side would be a good loan for jalo. He took donny apart with 2 great finishes in the pizza trophy last season. Still only 17 so don't want to rush him too much but league 2 could be good experience for him.

    To be honest, I’m not sure how long Benson has left out but I guess with him not having a preseason either way, he’ll still be quite far away. Wouldn’t totally surprise me if we brought in a loan deal for a midfielder.

    The thing is when he came on second half against hull, what benefit was that been up top by yourself and literally chasing shadows. Would have been better off partnering one of our more experienced strikers

    I agree, or a short term loan to the National League to assess him as there’s not much difference in truth. No harm in sending him out for experience until January and then either retaining him for the duration of the season or securing another loan deal. I just can’t see someone of his calibre with the exposure he has being content with playing junior football, particularly if he has suitors trying to tempt him away. There’s no point rushing him into our side but at the same time we have to manage it before we lose him.

    I agree with that especially the end bit, he had premier league teams wanting him last summer but chose to stay here, obviously a prem team would have just banged him in their academy and had him playing u21 league football. Credit to him for staying but he needs some competitive game time to bring him on.
