    Apparently he's also buying Wigan Warriors rugby league club at the end of this season as well.
    He'll then own both clubs and the ground.

    I think he already owns or part owns the rugby league club, and takes full control when Lenagan leaves at the end of the season.

    They can be optimistic that he'll be better than the last 2 or 3 owners they have had. But I can't see him bankrolling success like Whelan did

    I think he’s had some interest in the Warrior's for a while. Some Latic fans hate the Warriors almost as much as they hate us and are not happy about being in joint ownership
