Cheers for the update, would have wondered what was happening with the sat nav. Work from home this morning, it's set to reopen at 9.30

Probably won’t affect many but the A61 is closed for four weeks for repairs to an ancient bridge near Harewood/Pool in Wharfedale. This is the road between Leeds and Harrogate.

It’s a major route but they’re deliberately doing it during the school holidays to minimise disruption.

I keep seeing the signs for that. I travel from Headingley to Thorner and back twice a day to do dog drop off/pick ups. I’m hoping it doesn’t impact the A6120 too much as it’s already over an hour round trip.

The closure is from today and a lot of disruption for surrounding villages is inevitable. Apparently you can still walk or cycle over the bridge but no vehicles possible

Missed a trick there. Jud. But I know you are a conscientious worker trying to get there on time. :)

Yeah thanks for this, helped me out. Still ended up taking me an hour to get to Morley but better than two hours at peak. Ta.

Unfortunately I was 200 metres behind the crash at 5:30am and didn't move for 2 hours.
