    Is it owt to do with his recent presser. I don't like being a harbinger but knew Norwood would be on his bike then.

    I don't get your hang up with this presser mate. He said nothing wrong and just that he couldn't wait to start the new season. All he said is the defence needs working on because we've lost the best defender in the league and his mate in Thomas. Anyone and their nans would say if you've lost 2 first teamers, they need replacing. He hasn't slagged board or the club, or Khaled off.

    Personally I just think Wrexham are looking at him because he's an extremely talented, knocking on abit, 33 soon, experienced player and will help their push for another promotion whilst also knowing it'd be his last payday so he'll be interested in that

    Oldham? Surely that’s Norwood taking the mick? Well maybe not taking the mick but having a laugh? He will always be in our match day squad either starting and playing 60 minutes or coming on for the last half an hour. I would kind of get Wrexham but Oldham doesn’t make any sense to me. Unless I’m missing something of course…

    Hes a joker isn’t he. I’d guess he’s winding them up. Was told Collins didn’t play Phillips today because he’s suspended tor 3 games. No point playing a player leaving on Monday. Like Collins says, he’s done well in pre-season, scoring goals. Did well last season, earned a contract extension. Why would he drop 2 divisions?

    Up to Norwood in the end. If he wants to go there's really no point keeping him. Same with any player. A motivated Norwood is a great asset, but him going through the motions 'cos he wants to be elsewhere isn't.

    I don't doubt that Wrexham could offer him more money, but probably not life changing money compared to his wage with us. But still, more money is more money. And he'll know he hasn't got many more years left. So there will certainly be something for him to think about (assuming Wrexham's interest in him is true). But he'll also know that we have a real chance of winning promotion to The Championship and he seems like the kind of player who enjoys winning stuff, and proving people wrong.

    I hope Norwood stays, because he does an important job for us, and its just what we signed him for. In fact, he does exactly what it says on the tin lol, we should nickname him Ronseal. :rolleyes:

    He'd be dropping just one division, not two. I'll be massively disappointed though, if he doesn't stay with us.

    I'd say it's a problem at boardroom level if he departs. They'll have to go out and get another talismanic centre forward.
