So it's £50+ for an East Upper ticket and the chance to buy food & ale? Doesn't read like anything is included barring a ticket and entrance to the place.

I get the concept, but I'd be surprised if many folk do it. Chuck a pint & chicken in a basket in and it might be a goer, mind.

I suppose, given the fact that the exec floor was sold out for many/(most?) games last season, they expect that they can use this for the overflow.

Ripping off fans isn't the way to go about increasing revenue.

It was oversubscribed at £5 you couldn’t get a table to actually eat food when we went. No way worth £50+ quid though either but hey ho.

It's so good, I think I'll buy the company.

Not sure offering something new, trying something slightly different and bridging a gap between Exec and normal - ignoring that it's completely optional- is ripping folk off.

I suppose it's like all those exec boxes with seats outside that you see at major cricket grounds. Many people will go because their company is paying but, even if it's at the individual's expense, you could argue that if you can afford it, why not? Get there early, have a drink and something to eat, and a chat of course. Then go outside to watch the match in comfy seats.

I presume if you just want to go for the hospitality that option is there as well, although you wouldn't see any of the match from inside presumably? I wonder which part of the stand these seats are by the way?

They must have got the pricing from somewhere I suppose. If you knock a tenner off that price then it might entice a few more 'normal' fans, but if it's looking to be a cheaper more casual Exec experience then maybe they've got it right.

I don't think it's ripping anyone off but if this means no more £5 offer for regular fans then I'm a bit concerned about pricing regular fans out

I used to go in the Legends Suite with my brother, but you have to buy a meal option. Last season I changed to the Premier Lounge, but that’s gone (probably for Rimmington’s).

I may try Rimmo’s or DX64 when I’m back in October.

I had a chat with Charlie Williams’ old missus in the Premier Lounge at one game last year. Just thought I’d share.
