If the Exeter that played us twice turn up most weeks they'll be very close to automatic promotion. If the Exeter that played out the rest of the season turn up, they'll finish rock bottom.
Charlton are 16/1 to win league last I checked. Great each way value for those of you who fancy them.
They'd also got Reading to finish bottom. I wasn't fully aware of the mess Reading are in. Sam Smith has gone there with a long term injury, and none of their other signings are being given clearance to play, which leaves them with a very small, inexperienced squad, and a questionable managerial appointment. And they're under a transfer embargo again. That makes them favourites for relegation again.
Reading are in a right state, there's no way they'll be anywhere near the top Reading: No manager, financial problems & a new life in League One - what are fans saying? - BBC Sport
Yesterday's Racing Post contained it's annual 'Big Kick-Off' betting preview supplement. To my surprise they made Us their headline selection to win League One. I think there are unanswered questions about how big an effect the departures of Mads and Mickey Duff will have. But for what it's worth I believe we are twice the price of Derby to win the league, which seems out of kilter to me.
Bristol Rovers to win the league and we will be in a relegation trouble from day one,we are not very good really,no bite in attack, poor midfield who lack pace and a defence that as had its heart sold on ,who knows if we got a good keeper this season too
I’ve seen some bold predictions on here before but that is right up there. You should lump on that because you’d make a killing. And by make a killing I mean lose your money.
Anything's possible, especially early in the season. But if we've got Styles and Connell in central midfield, I can't see many teams getting close to us. I reckon Styles might have been told he's staying until Phillips's ban finishes. Would make sense.
Plus Russell. That's two full internationals, one of whom struggles to get into the side. If Styles hits form, that midfield would easily hold its own in the Championship.
