They are down to 33/1 everywhere now,you can all scoff,this is my prediction,as the thread asked for ,we are 12/1 to be relegated,I won’t back it as want us to go up,hope I completely wrong ,but think we struggle ,only a prediction ,so don’t get mad everyone

 

It's the best in the League without fitness and suspension issues. What would you say to a midfield consisting of Benson, Russell and Wolfe? Or Benson, Ackroyd and Phillips?

I thought they were a bit flippant about our chances to be honest and think they overestimated the chance of a points deduction. If Collins is a semi-decent manager we will get top 6, if he’s any good we will get top 2. And that’s based on the strength of the league as much as anything.

The only form Styles as shown in a Barnsley shirt as been at wing back,he was worse than useless in midfield,people have selective memory

 

It wouldn’t though non of those players as any successful time playing in championship midfield

I can understand some uncertainty - it's reflected on here and social media amongst our fanbase. We've no idea yet how much of a loss Duff will be, and who we'll replace Andersen with. The EFL statement no doubt draws attention, even though it's unlikely to impact our performance on the pitch or result in a point deduction.

On the plus side, we've (so far) kept most of the team from last season, who've now had a year together. Our squad is better now than it was at the start of last season, with the exception of losing Mads and the goalkeepers that we had in Collins/Walton, plus the overall quality of the league looks weaker. 12th seems a bit of an overreaction, especially when it's below Bristol Rovers and Port Vale.

 

Now i know we havent a crystal ball so anything could happen this year but how anybody can think we will struggle when we finished fourth,probably should have won at wembley,Ipswich result at home in my opinion would have been different if played on the correct date when automatic was still possible and all being well we will have 7 or 8 players that played at wembley plus Styles.Talk about doom and gloom.

 

You're entitled to your view, it's just the rest of us don't share it! Maybe if they get rid of Barton they may stand a better chance!

 

Styles has looked pretty decent in central mid for Hungary.
