The Premier League are letting Luton play at Kenilworth Road even thought the ground doesn't meet to ground rules. No under soil heating.

Saw this a few weeks ago. I thought it had been brought in years ago that all EFL clubs had to have undersoil heating, so how long have they got away with not having it

I don't even know how they passed the Taylor report.

Errr…. Long enough to be able to spend the money instead on buying players to gain promotion to the prem I’d guess…

They’ve been relying on the houses around the ground putting their heating on full blast in the past apparently :rolleyes:

I thought this thread was about Luton signing another one of our players.

Noticed they beat the pigs 2-1 at Hillsborough at the weekend.

Of all the crimes and rule breaks going on in and around football at the minute (ourselves included seemingly), I'm more than happy for the Premier League let it slide that Luton need to spend millions of pounds to install undersoil heating.

Maybe cos they’ve had plans for new stadium in place EFL agreed it was not cost efficient to install.

They have probably been very lucky in that they never needed to postpone fixtures due to frost etc.

One penalty box is bigger than the other one, is that why we don't get penalties at Oakwell? :)

EFL clubs do not require undersoil heating. Full frost proof covers will suffice. Luton are not the only club given grace in the past to install heating after promotion to the Premier. Bournemouth one among several apparently.

No but they're preparing a bid for our under soil heating

Whilst I agree totally with your point, I still get the feeling that if little old Barnsley won promotion to the Prem again with the West Stand still in place, they'd decide it wasn't safe and we'd be denied promotion.

We'd just either play with 3 stands or do what Blackpool did and knock a stand up post season.
