Reported by Doug he’s likely to miss the game with illness. Hope it’s nothing serious like glandular fever or similar.
Who was the player we had a few years ago who suffered from glandular fever? He was missing for ages with it. Toby Sibbick maybe?
Well I’ve had it 5 times now and have had 4 vaccinations. Luckily I haven’t been seriously ill, but my wife who also has had it at least as many times as me gets knocked for 6 every time.
Hit-in-the-nads-by-a-cricket-ball-itis? Always looks quite pale to me, maybe an iron deficiency - is he a vegan ?
It wasn't him I was thinking of. Sure it was a centre half. Sibbick definitely suffered from it at Hibs, when he first went there on loan. He missed months of the season from it.
Big blow, hopefully just out for the one game. I'd say for us to have any realistic hope of promotion we can't afford for him to miss more than a handful of games.
I’ve had it twice and found it crazy how much it completely wiped me out. I struggled to walk faster than a shuffle for weeks both times.
That's a big shame. He's the right age to have suffered from glandular fever, hope its something that he recovers from quickly
Why should he have glandular fever, just cos the thread opener ,asked some random question, now he got it ,it seems,he may aswell have said bubonic plague , all just speculation
