    There’s no way with the forwards we have that we’ll be adopting an intense high press.

    Two days before the start of the season and we're losing our best striker to Oldham.

    Absolutely embarrassing state of affairs this pre season I'm afraid.

    Cole was great at pressing and finished top scorer. And Mr loyalty played him every game. Norwood struggled for game time over tedic at the end of season (not sure I agreed with that) I'd have liked to see him stay but people carrying on asif he is harry kane in his prime he's just dropped to oldham in the national league who are totally skint.

    Has anybody checked previous fixtures where Norwood and Collins faced each other? Maybe Nors gave him a wet willy at a set piece and he’s never let it go.

    Not sure if the wing backs can provide the balls in and the likes of connell kane styles Phillips feed the strikers then I'd back our forwards to score. Last season our forwards didn't score as many as I'd have liked. The defence is a big worry for me.

    We're going to be lacking physicality up front without him, big nasty ******* defenders will see our forward line as a soft touch.

    Whilst he might not have been able to do it for 90 minutes you knew that he would run his blood to watter for the 60 he was on the pitch - chasing, harrying, pressing and always gave as good as he got.

    Could this be another Woodrow style bit of Shenanigans by the club? Remember Doug O'Kane reported he was having a medical at Swansea the same day he signed his new deal.

    Think we can finally put to rest any notion that this lot actually want us to have the best chance of succeeding. This is just bonkers on every single level imaginable.
    If someone told me walking back down wembley way back in May that we were gonna offload Norwood to a non league club 2 days before the start of next season, i would have laughed through my tears. Just unfathomable... but so barnsley
