Same answer for every Saturday yes if you live outside the UK or have a dodgy stick/box otherwise just midweek
I agree with all of this. and yes ambition means the owners pissing more money down the wall to some posters. and then getting pelters if they do that unsuccessfully. and let’s not forget they’ve collectively spent around 6 million last season. I’m personally grateful that their level of “ambition” kept us in business.
Mads was always going as will Styles and Williams. Norwood will be replaced. Duff is an a rse We have kept Kitchin Connell Kane Phillips Cadden Cole Signed Roberts, Watters Lopata and Mael, O Keefe. We have money now to keep us going and some real potential in the ranks. Its not that bad.
I’m the same vein, some people never have anything BAD to say about the club. Too scared to lose privileges I think
Some people are more positive in life and i can see why some fans do see the good, but there's no in between with some fans.
The comment where someone wrote we kept 64% of the Wembley squad summed alotnof posters up on this board for me. That’s diabolical! Unless it was sarcasm and I’ve missed the joke. It’s been a disastrous pre season yet again, I struggle to see how some fans see it as anything but? You’ve got first team players coming out in the press saying it’s a **** show. Imagine losing your best striker to a side two leagues below and him writing on their official website saying “Barnsley won’t get promoted this year but I think Oldham will so it was an easy decision” that is extremely concerning to hear.
We've lost 3 goalkeepers in 2 transfer windows. Sold our captain who was our best defender. Sold our best striker. Midfield is still OK. We weren't good enough to go up last season. We came very close, but ultimately fell short. We've weaked our team, cancelled friendlies. The whole summer has been a mess (again). When people talk about getting a place in the top 2. How? Hope to be proved wrong.
I got up feeling fantastic this morning and looking forward to the upcoming season but this thread as taught to stop having an optimistic outlook on life and to remind me we’re all doomed….Doooooooommmeeed
I'm very disappointed that Mads, Collins and Norwood have left but Mads was always on his way (might possibly have stayed if we'd gone up) and Collins never got back in once we got Isted. And like everyone else I'm rather baffled by the Norwood business. However, I fully expected Williams, Connell, Kane and Kitching to have gone this summer. We still have the makings of a decent squad, we just need a centre back and a striker and we're in business.
