2-0 We don't always have a good start to the season, but this is a game we should win based on the respective squads.
A win with everybody slipping and sliding on the sodden playing surface. Seeing as we currently sit at the top of the table I expect us to stay there with a 4-0 win. But there will be lots of nerves in the crowd as the ref keeps stopping the game to test the pitch for waterlogging. We could get to minute 75 and he abandons it (another Plymouth away).
I saw somewhere that in their friendly with Donny they were very direct, bypassed midfield, neck ache… Not a bad way to play against us tbh, looking fwd to the game but not confident. 1:1
I'd have agreed last season, however for me, it was Andersen who struggled with that style of play the most. The likelihood is that we'll play with Lopata who is a bit of an unknown, and Williams, who has a lot of pace, in the back 3. So I'm not sure how we'll fair.
Well my hope to be wrong came in. Poor first half but the finishing clinical. Second half was very enjoyable
I think you're right. I've seen us score 7 twice before, in 62 years. One was the Huddersfield 7-1 and the other was a 7-3 against Bristol City in the early 1960s. Never seen 7-0 before.
