Agreed. He's very quick to spot danger and make timely interceptions.

Think I’ve said this on here before but as good as he is at rb/rwb, I’ve always preferred Williams as a cb in a back 3. He was class there under Struber and today he was brilliant. Just makes sense him playing there and having Cotter and O’Keefe compete for the rwb spot.

I’ve always called for him to play there. He’s brilliant in the role.

Lopata looks absolutely solid as well. If this French bloke is as good, we'll be absolutely fine at the back.

Having Williams as a righ CB works pretty well, when were attacking and the RWB is further up the field, Williams slots into a rb a we transition into a 4 at the back.

Looked very assured, didn't he. Obviously coming into the fray when the game is won really takes the pressure off as it was already like a training exercise by that point. But still, making your League 1 debut is a big deal , especially after playing for Pontefract Collieries, whose stadium is little more than a glorified park.

Personally I prefer Williams in the back three his pace is a great asset . Not a criticism don't mind him at wing back he did really well last season but he can't deliver a ball like Cadden, O'keffe and Cotter did yesterday.

5 goals and 7 assists from WB. I'm sure others will make those assists, but 5 goals? We'll have to see...

Clearly a big plus to have someone in the RCB position who can also play WB, helps massively on reading the game.

I don't know whether Jordan wants out, but a good bit of man management from Collins might do the trick.
Tell him it could be a promotion season etc, see if that can tempt him to stay for the season.

I think this is one the board have to really think about. Is he worth keeping only to lose on a free. It's basically a risk v reward scenario, how much do they think he'll help us gain promotion and all that extra championship money, vs whether or not he leaves for a fee and they dont think him leaving will determine much. Personally I'd rather us keep him and leave for nothing as I think he's a big part of our squad, ideally he'll sign a new contract..!

Get promoted and we can convince him to sign a new contract.

1 assist from O'Keeffe yesterday, 2 from Cotter. So after 1 game we're 43% there in terms of assists from our right wing backs.
