For anyone who went to the game last night. How was Thomas Kirk?

David Rock currently leads the way in both the best and worst ref of the season so far, with a lofty score of 2.81.

Having watched sections of the Port Vale game back, David Rock was actually excellent apart from his card inconsistencies.

Can you make these viewable without putting a mark in for those who couldn't watch the game?

Surely the ref wasn’t that bad to have 5 people vote zero??

I’ve given him 2. He was lucky to get that!!

Clear fouls not given in the lead up to both their goals and I’ll never wrap my head around the Lopata booking if I live for another 50 years.

So I would calibrate a Zero as being Willard level as you cant get less than zero or worse than Willard
Are these 5 saying he was that bad? I wasnt at the game so cant comment but I would be surprised

Side note you cant really mark them down for playing 10 mins injury time per half they are all having to do that now

Thought he wasn't bad overall but as said above, blatant fouls just before both Tranmere goals so gave him a 3. Not saying he lost us the game btw as they were clearly the better team, but that doesn't excuse the mistakes.

Don't mind the new approach. Booking open dissent (assume that's Kasper) and not being taken in by every dramatic fall. Ref long way short of great, but not too bad imho.

Not sure how Kettle can be a 4.
I had the added unfortunateness/ unfortuness/lack of fortune? to meet him socially on a number of occasions, at the gym and he was a customer of my store. His refereeing persona was mild compared to real life. Oooo, look at me, do you know who I am.

Most puzzling to me is that 2 (at the time of posting) have given a 10. By that I can only assume that they thought the ref was correct to book Russel for his early foul yet soon after a similar foul by them was deemed to be ok for just a ‘word’ by the ref. He wasn’t as poor as Saturday’s ref and I’ve given a 5, but to give a 10 is puzzling
