Is a formal transfer request even a thing any more? Not heard it since I was playing Champ Manager 3. Everybody knows that all players have a price nowadays, and if somebody wants to leave then it's up to their agent to get a club to pay it.
Well a much respected poster started this thread and apart from a joke reply to me, hasn’t provided a source or even said that he can’t reveal his source or anything. So with all due respect and to put it as mildly as I can, there’s simply nothing in it
If Kane and Kitching go before the fans forum thing, then someone can have my seat, not wasting a 2 hour drive on Khaleds platitudes and a board that will have chalked **** on it before the seasons even started. I know it's all rumour, hopefully it's in the Wilder camp not the Norwood one.
Nobody hands in a transfer request any more. If they do then it means they can't claim their "loyalty bonus". Which in itself is a bizarre clause that I can't believe exists, but then agents are clever I guess. How someone can sign a 4 year deal, then get a loyalty bonus when they're stay for each year is beyond me.
If I was been honest we are top heavy with quality Central midfielders...... Especially with Russell showing his quality. Depends if Luca is going to appear anytime soon
Heard that Bayern Munich had a lost in translation moment and accidentally bid 100 million for Herbie Kane.
I guess the other way of looking at it is that some of what they might have been paid anyway is pushed into the 'loyalty bonus' , which makes it more beneficial to the club post-Bosman.
We should include a "Disloyalty Bonus" in the manager contracts, so they pay us when they leave early.
It's time the transfer window closed on the day before the league kicks off. even if theres no truth in it this is unsettling for the team and the fans. shut the chufin window before a balls kicked and we won't have this sh*te to put up with...still some on forums think Luca's going cos he ant played. does ya head in.
Not in a club like ours’ interests that. Clubs that perennially need to sell a few to keep afloat. There’s plenty of clubs in that boat. We need some ‘big’ clubs to lose a couple of games, cak their pants and get their chequebook out with a big offer here and there. It’s bad enough having windows - years ago it was a free for all at any time until transfer deadline day at the end of March. Many’s a book has been balanced by selling a player near bonfire night or just before Easter.
