Wonder how Trafford does today, he was great in league one. Big step up for him though. Certainly against his old club!
Man City: Brilliant, yes. Ruthless, yes. Like watching paint dry, yes. If they play perfect football then I'd rather watch it flawed.
That finish from Haaland though.. I take your point re watching paint dry at times, especially when they have so much possession, but that adds to their ruthlessness.
Totally agree boring football so slow even Haaland having a go at someone at half time whistle. He is not getting the service now. Off to watch FC United of Manchester v Worksop Tomorrow and can guarantee it will not been like this. Interesting to see our our young keeper on loan Adam Hayton copes in a league match with a fair size crowd. He has been really impressive in the friendlies.
Mebbes in England, but playing against Europe's best is where you really see their quality. Last season's Champions League Quarters, Semis and Final were tactically brilliant and hugely entertaining. Whatever you think about how they were assembled, they are phenomenal to watch.
I agree it can be very tedious at times. But when they switch it on, they blow teams away. That Bayern result and beating Madrid 4-0, they were absolutely sensational. I don't know of any teams who can look so mundane one second and then 10 seconds later they've scored with about 56 passes
PL refs playing by different rules to EFL refs. No bookings compared to the 800 that an EFL ref would have dished out
