    I totally agree with you. It’s a total risk like most of the squad but the board are seriously letting him down. A very good manager couldn’t do owt with the squad we’ve got at the moment. I think we’ll pick up but I think we’ll be chasing top half end of season rather than top two.

    We've got quality players, Collins needs to work out how to get the best out of them, we are ridiculously wide open defensively and disjointed going forward.

    Wasnt Collins a defender? Why did our defenders leave blue shirts unmarked virtually every time they went near our box? Absolutely gifted them 3 goals and it could easily have been double if not for Roberts.

    They finished 6th, and have lost players. We're yet to lose ours. I guess it depends what you think we should be aiming for?

    I totally get that. You'd have thought as a former defender that Collins would have worked on defensive shape and tried to build a solid platform from the back, however in the last 2 games we've conceded 4 goals and a significant number of other chances. If we don't sort things out the back then we will keep on conceding.

    Kane and Russell are far too slow together, they can't play as a pair against any half decent team

    That was rubbish second half. But honestly some people need to stop supporting Barnsley. What you want is for Barnsley to be top half of the Championship. What people need to realise is that it is not 1995 anymore. I do worry that the reason for this is that the majority of Barnsley supporters grew up watching Barnsley in the 90s and have never really gotten out of that era. It is a different time now. We aren’t a Championship team anymore. We have no money, less than no money. People want us to chuck money at it but where is the money coming from? Nobody wants to buy Barnsley, we are unfashionable. I know Bournemouth and Brentford are unfashionable too but they are in desirable areas of the country. I think a lot of Barnsley fans need a reality check of where we are or maybe it is time to pack it in with Barnsley and go do something else with their time.

    The strike force is a worry. It wasn't great last season and I think that's what cost us promotion. But it looks even worse this season on top of a shakey defence who don't look organised. Worrying stuff.

    This will only get worse for us. We’re still going to lose some important players and won’t replace them. This will be a long season and i can see us getting piss taken out of us a lot on the way.

    We weren’t crap, but it was end to end and both sides had missed chances. The problem was once we took the lead we switched to 10-0-0 formation and got absolutely punished because we are clueless at defending
