What a bargain this looks to be. He has all the attributes. With good coaching he could be a huge asset for us.

I'm not sure on this. Hes really, really poor defensively as shown again there with their 3rd goal

From the little I’ve seen… He’s a defensive liability but decent going forward. I’d prefer to get some actual defenders in who can defend

Defensively he isn't. Attacking wise he's one of the biggest threats we have going forward.

Scored a fluke but they all count.

Most underrated player in the squad.

He caused Peterborough all sorts of problems all match, he put plenty of crosses in, danced into the area to set up Barnsley's best chance of the first half, scored a goal, cut inside plenty of times.

Yet fans don't rate him and even the iFollow co-commentator was calling him a one trick pony and saying his opposite number had the measure of him. I don't know what he has to do.

Deserved Man of the Match today though. His defending might be his weakest aspect but even then he did more than Kitching this match (who has uncharacteristically seemed asleep these last two games). There have been far worse players than Barry pull on the red shirt.

He’s not had loads of games but tonight’s was Barry’s best game for us. He doesn’t have the defensive awareness but going forward he scares defenders.

Shame we don’t play with wingers because he’d be perfect as a right winger.

So much potential with the right coaching he could be a very good player.

    Pretty much this.

He's an out and out winger or the right in a front 3

We've bought cheap knowing he can go forward hoping to develop his defence side. To ultimately sell for massive profit. Nothing more and nothing less

He should be used as a purely attacking player. His crossing is absolutely brilliant, but seeing as he can't defend for toffee, we should probably stop playing him in a role where he needs to do it.

Personally think it’s another failing of our recruitment. He can’t perform well in the position he’s been identified for and now we think he would be better in one that he’s not been picked for. Says everything you need to know about the club now tbh.

This. Really hope he can work on his defensive role without losing his attacking threat. Loved the way Russell was so pleased with him scoring!

He’s a raw talent. Great going forward but terrible defensively. Glad he got a goal but I’ve never seen a wing back get caught wrong side as much.

I'll be glad to see Williams at wing back with the French guy in defence.

We may have to change formation to accommodate tho. Go to a back 4with Williams behind him.

He looks a talent attacking wise but he's too vulnerable defensively.
    As others have said he'd make a great winger in a 4 4 2.
Can't see us changing systems just to accommodate him.
