    Needs to play more offensively as he can’t defend but there’s talent there. Playing him in his current role is just an accident waiting to happen

    Let's hope the new Barry Cotter song dies a death. I feel like the last thing we need as a club is another song about the IRA, mostly sung by lads who weren’t even in nappies when the IRA were around :rolleyes:

    Agree he’s got a lot going for him and with the proper coaching he should make a decent player and at the moment he’s the only player in the side who can beat a man for pace or with a trick.

    Cotter needs to watch Caddens movement and take note. He’s up there with some great crosses and attacking play but makes it priority to get back and defend.

    Cadden does do that. Unfortunately, not well enough last night. But I do think he'll have a good influence on Cotter if we do keep him as a wing back

    I thought initially he was a little dodgy, but second half of last season he was great. The amount of space he has to cover is astounding, he made some great blocks/tackles against Bristol rovers last week, second half yesterday I think he was poor defensively, definitely one of his off days. He reminds me a little of Baines, fantastic going forward, decent enough at the back, obviously just less talented. I genuinely believe he's probably the best overall left WB in the league now Leif davis has been promoted with ipswich, when combining both his attacking & defending capabilities bud. Got a wicked shot on him too

    Cotter reminds me a lot of Forrest Gump in his gridiron scenes.
    I imagine he is mic'd up to Stead or Devaney who are instructing him when to set off and when to stop.
