There's a good interview with him in today's Chronicle.
He seems to have his head screwed on and I think he will be a fan favourite.
One bit that stood out for me was the following quote,

"Lopata made a fine last-ditch tackle to deny Aaron Collins in Barnsley’s 1-1 draw at Bristol Rovers on Saturday.

“They should have never got in that position. I should have cut the ball out early. Good defenders don’t even need to make tackles."

He thinks he's Maldini with that quote. Of course defenders need to make tackles, thats exactly what their job is.

Said the same at the time of the incident. The tackle was greeted rapturousley. But shouldn't have been necessary. A big mistake by him led to it. Good to see he acknowledged that.

You need to be good with a tackle with a name like that.

He was being Self Critical. Thats how we all get better at the things we do.

I'd much rather him say what he said, than 'Yes, it was pretty epic wasn't it? I'm nearing my full potential and I'll be playing for Man City next year'

There's an interview with him in Tuesday's programme, and I agree he appears to be an intelligent, perceptive and grounded young man.
