I don't disagree. As I think there is a decent player in there. But if he is a bad influence on the training ground. It may do more harm than good to pick him. Certainly an interesting one. All sorts of rumours doing the rounds. Eg turning up late. Just going through the motions etc. But if true fine him.
Get him in the ******* squad and stop putting kids on the bench that we have no intention of putting on unless we are 6-0 up.
Please design the new West Stand with traditional empathy. Please keep the central portico & put the dressing rooms underneath..x ta..
Someone asked if we can kick off earlier because she has to get to work on an evening and can’t stay for the additional extra time that the FA has brought in this season. ♂️ Christ almighty where these cranks come from?
And some people on here buy into these fans. It's embrassing. It was a good listen but the questions have completely left me seething.
At a meeting I attended. A lady asked if we could force Exeter to play at a neutral venue somewhere between their place and ours. as a punishment for the late postponed game at their place. So it would inconvenience their fans. Couldn't make it up. Audience was stunned.
Overall I thought it was worthwhile and pretty good. It's built my trust in them. It's obviously good that they've input more money (I think they said £3.5m?), although even allowing for the fact that incoming transfer fees coming in instalments rather than in a lump sum, it appears that the wage bill has reduced I find it difficult to see how it's necessary. Perhaps the club could communicate more to create more awareness of the high costs of running a football club that they referenced on several occasions. They said on a few occasions that they're not taking money out which suggests they thought fans think they are, I don't think that but I can't get the figures to add up. It was good that they said they're not going anywhere. It was good that Neerav communicated that we've turned down a £3m and a high six figure offer this window and that the players would be here at the end of the window - albeit a little unwise imo as if a stupidly high offer came in I don't see how they could turn it down and don't think many people would object to a sale - providing it was reinvested. There were some poor, vague answers imo e.g. a lack of clarity or ownership re shirts and Fanatics. Nevertheless I was impressed by their passion. Julie-Anne has received a lot of criticism and a fair bit of abuse today on Twitter for her tweet about the Women's team - unfairly in my view - by people who have conflated every frustration together and thrown it at her. We can surely be critical of one thing whilst at the same time being positive about something else and the Women's team is something to be positive about and proud of. Anyway, overall I'd say it was a 7 or possibly 7.5 out of 10.
Passed the buck. Mentioned how it's same for other clubs, like that makes it a bit more OK with us. Mentioned that we could have a 4th kit chosen by fans. Also mentioned the kits for next season are being sorted now. Hopefully that means they are out for June. Someone early on moaned about them not being available in the club shop and Khaled said they would be. Later on someone moaned about us only selling them on Fanatics and instead of saying "I told you earlier you will be able to buy one in the club shop, were you not listening?, he instead passed the mic down to Julie to repeat what he had already said.
Khaled: "In terms of the jersey I think it's a general discussion about the fact that any time you try to implement something new (fanatics) it takes a bit of time for it to settle and it is a new relationship. When it comes to the jersey itself quite a lot of clubs have similar issues. It's not on purpose, supply issues, changing warehouse's , the jerseys will be here soon and they will be sold in the shop, it's not just online."
