    Just watching pre.match build up for Chesterfield v Oldham and they are Interviewing Norwood
    They asked him why Oldham and he said he felt he could still score goals in League 1 but Barnsley wouldn't extend his contract and Oldham offered him one

    Pretty much what was said last night regarding contract. He had 1 year with us and Oldham offered him 2 on more money, which means Oldham are flush or he was on £10 an hour with us

    Thanks for this. I thought Khalid said he wanted him out or it was because he said he thought we needed to strengthen the squad or something that suggested we’re a broken club not that we decided not to offer a contract extension to someone who would be 33 at the end of his contract with us and it was therefore better all around if we got a fee and he got more financial security.

    They said last night a couple of times that Oldham offered him more money than any other L1 player.
