It wasn't as cut and dried as that, he listed several possibilities to illustrate that they were considering all the options.
Same goes for his comment about swapping the Ponty and away ends, it was one of a raft of options to avoid having the team come out into the noise of away fans.

Threatening club employees should result in a ban from using the carpark.

We have a ground in the centre ish of town in a mainly residential area the down side to this is the car park is a nightmare. I drive to all the games and have no mobility problems so I just park in town. You can't release any cars from the car park until the stadium is empty it's simply not safe, unfortunately if you have mobility issues you will after wait. My down side is I have to do a 15 min walk everybody has to compromise or move to a soulless out of town breeze block plastic box.

No, a voluntary apology is in order & it shouldn’t need any of us to tell him to do that. This won’t escape the attention of the club. I’m hoping he posts later today, having apologised to the lass & fella in question.. :)

I’m a bus w4nker & proud of it. We need more bus w4nkers. People would drive their cars to bed, if they could..:)

I think more people would use the bus if the service was better. I know I would.

If it's a night game I will park in town and walk, if its a Saturday match then I'll get the bus

You just answered your own question there. It’s not a service anymore, it’s a business. In Wentworth, we campaigned hard to get a decent bus. & won. Now I can get to my doctor, vet etc, without shelling out £20 in cabs.
Use it, or lose it. Simple as that.. :)

Rarely post on here but for this I'll make an exception.

What happened today? Grove Street was closed off when I went past at 2:30 and cars were backing up Ponty Road obviously not being allowed up. Car park gates were shut at all entrances with about 300 empty spaces inside. Seems like the club are doing everything possible to piss off the fans.

The car park closes 30 minutes before kick off.

    They make that very clear.

66 years old and threatening violence at folk for putting a cone on the floor? You need to chill your beans, Grandad, or you won't make 70, not good getting so stressed at that age.

    He's revealed his weakness.

Rookie mistake, that. Never mind Achilles' Heel - go for Jedi One's knees and spine.

Don't use it but I can't remember Grove Street being closed off and all the gates shut. Maybe I've been slightly earlier before. Seems counter productive to me and at £5 a space they must be missing out on £1000s every game. Has anyone said why they're closing it so early?
